Halotherapy (Salt)
Halotherapy (Salt Therapy) is a natural therapy that has origins in ancient Greece that is based on the idea that salt has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.
When a person breathes in salty air, the salt particles can help reduce inflammation in the lungs and airways, which can help relieve symptoms of certain respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Salt booths are also very beneficial for helping alleviate symptoms of skin conditions.
